The 2009 Escalade Hybrid is a 4-door, 8-passenger luxury sport-utility, available in two trims, the 2WD and the 4WD.

Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V8, 332-horsepower, hybrid engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
